Terms and Conditions for Intimate Gatherings and Micro Events at Lo Scoglio 

 Welcome to Lo Scoglio, a picturesque setting ideal for your intimate gatherings and events. Our goal is to make your special day as memorable and stress-free as possible. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully to ensure a smooth and enjoyable celebration. 

Event Coordination 

ELOPE Micro Weddings coordinate all weddings and events at Lo Scoglio. Customers must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by ELOPE Micro Weddings in addition to the terms outlined herein.  contact details:  

Guest Capacity 

Lo Scoglio can accommodate a maximum of 25 guests, including children (see our Children under 10 Policy), for gatherings and events. This limit ensures an intimate setting and compliance with our operational capacities. 

Accommodation Limit 

For overnight stays, we can comfortably host up to 12 guests, including children, on the premises. This allows us to maintain the quality of our facilities and the comfort of all guests.  

Booking and Confirmation 

Our policies are: 

  • 50% non-refundable deposit to secure a booking. 
  • Final 50% non-refundable payment due 30 days prior to your arrival. 
  • If booking within 30 days of arrival, full payment is due at the time of booking. 

Confirmation is subject to receipt of signed terms and conditions. 

Accommodation Security Bond 

For guests booking accommodations at Lo Scoglio, a security bond of $3,500 is required. This bond must be held on a nominated credit card and will be processed one week prior to check-in. This amount is non-negotiable and is necessary to secure the booking and ensure the property’s protection during your stay. 

Intimate Gathering Security Bond 

For intimate gatherings (such as micro weddings and birthdays) held at Lo Scoglio, a security bond of $3,000 is required. This bond must be transferred one week before the event date. The bond is non-negotiable and ensures the property is maintained and protected during your gathering. 

Please note that there are two distinct security bonds applicable depending on your booking type. For accommodation stays, a bond of $3,500 is required. For exclusive private events, a separate bond of $3,000 applies. If you are booking both accommodations and hosting an event, both bonds must be paid separately. Each bond must be processed one week prior to the start of your stay or event, as applicable. 

Site Inspections 

As part of your wedding planning, you are entitled to one complimentary site inspection to familiarise yourself with Lo Scoglio before the event. If you wish to schedule additional site inspections, they will incur a fee of $150 per visit. Please ensure to arrange any further inspections ahead of time to ensure availability. 

Venue Access 

Venue hire includes access to Lo Scoglio from 12 noon to 10.30 pm on the event day. No pre and/or after parties and/or day after celebrations are permitted at Lo Scoglio or its accommodation. 

Parking Arrangements 

  • Six car spaces are reserved for accommodation guests only.  
  • Parking is available for events with fewer than 20 guests. 
  • Events with more than 20 guests require prior arranged bus transport, booked with an approved transport company. 
  • No parking is allowed on nearby lanes. 

Event Administration Fee 

For each event hosted at our property, we implement an administration fee of $3,000.00. This comprehensive fee is designed to cover additional expenses associated with hosting your special occasion, including rubbish disposal, coordination with catering staff, site access arrangements, and any other necessities to ensure your event runs smoothly. This fee is essential in helping us maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and environmental integrity of our property throughout and after your event. 

Venue Licensing and Restrictions 

Please note that Lo Scoglio is not a licensed venue. As such, your event will be subject to certain limitations in terms of timeframes and guest numbers. We recommend referring to our comprehensive Terms and Conditions for detailed information on these limitations. 

Catering and Beverages 

All catering and beverage services must be arranged through our approved vendors or in-house catering team. External catering services are not permitted unless pre-approved by Lo Scoglio management 

Event Duration and Timing 

All gatherings and events must adhere to pre-agreed timeframes to ensure minimal disruption to our neighbours and adherence to local regulations. The curfew at Lo Scoglio is 10.30 pm. All guests must vacate the premises by this time. 

Decorations and Setup 

While we encourage personalisation of your event, all decorations and setup plans must be approved by Lo Scoglio management in advance. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and integrity of our property and compliance with our aesthetic standards. To protect our surfaces and maintain our property’s condition, nothing may be adhered to walls, floors, or any part of our premises. Additionally, the use of confetti is strictly prohibited. Pampas grass, drones, fireworks, wishing lanterns, or helium balloons are also not permitted at Lo Scoglio.io. 

Noise and Music 

We are committed to maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. As such, all music and noise levels must comply with local noise regulations and our own policies. Music must be concluded at a reasonable hour, 10pm, as determined in consultation with our management. Live music after 7 pm is not permitted.  

Code of Conduct  

We reserve the right to exclude or remove any person whose behaviour is undesirable or offensive from the event. 

Photography and Videography 

We welcome photographers and videographers to capture your special day. However, we request that all such arrangements be discussed with our management team to ensure they align with our property’s privacy and operational policies. 

Liability and Insurance: 

The event organiser will be responsible for any damage to the property or injury to persons resulting from the event. We highly recommend securing event insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.  Report any breakages or damages to Lo Scoglio promptly. We will endeavour to rectify the issue swiftly, with no refunds for repairs during the stay. 

Damage and Clean-up Clause 

In the event of damage to the property or furnishings caused by personal body fluids, including but not limited to vomit, urine, or similar, the responsible party will incur an additional clean-up fee, to be determined at our discretion. This fee is in addition to any standard damage or security deposit charges and is necessary to ensure the property is returned to its original state of cleanliness and hygiene for the enjoyment of all guests. 

Indemnification  

Event organisers indemnify Lo Scoglio from any claims arising from the event. 

Force Majeure 

Lo Scoglio is not liable for events beyond its control, as outlined in the force majeure clause.  

In the event that Lo Scoglio is sold or otherwise transferred to a new owner prior to the scheduled date of the event or small gathering, the new owner shall assume all rights and obligations under this agreement. The new owner shall make reasonable efforts to accommodate the event or small gathering under the same terms and conditions outlined herein. However, if the new owner is unable to accommodate the event or small gathering, Lo Scoglio shall provide a full refund of any deposits or payments made by the client. The client agrees to hold harmless Lo Scoglio and its current and future owners from any liability arising from such a transfer of ownership. 

Grounds Maintenance  

Lo Scoglio reserves the right to make necessary renovations and changes to the venue. 

Cancellation Policy 

Should you need to cancel your event, please refer to our standard cancellation policy outlined in our larger Terms and Conditions. We understand that plans can change and will work with you to find a suitable solution.
